Speaking of narrow band FM, does the K3 implement pre-emphasis and de-emphasis? I haven't had a chance to measure the FM transmitter and receiver characteristics yet, but hope to later in the week.
The EIA/TIA land mobile spec is 6 dB/Octave receiver de-emphasis 300–3000 Hz and corresponding transmitter pre-emphasis.
