The benefit of all of this software tweaking and the roofing filters and the operator working hard to learn the radio and radios in general are all additive! Someone just posted that they had trouble in pileups during the contest last weekend, but the radio worked better when they turned on the attenuator and turned down the RF gain. DUH!
