Hello, Saturday the 14th is the last PBMME for the Polar Bears winter season.
Check out www.n3epa.org for a official list of Polar Bears and the PB's that will be out on a trail on Saturday. I will be starting a 7.5 mile hike with Mark de NK8Q. We will setup camp and operate on Saturday afternoon thru Sunday morning. You can find either of us around the usual QRP frequencies. I am still looking for the States of HI and MT to have all 50 States worked from the Appalachian Trail. I am also looking for a QSO with someone that would be on the Appalachian Trail in the State of MA or ME for a AT to AT QSO. March 2009 will be the start of the 10th season for me going out on the Appalachian Trail with my QRP radios. So this will be a great way to kick off the hike and camping over night on the AT. I will probable be on CW most of the time but I will have my K2 with me and a mic for SSB. There will be a lot of Polar Bears with their Elecraft radios out on the trail so look for us in the Elecraft QP this weekend. If you work any of the Polar Bears that are out on the trail Saturday, please spot them on the QRP lists. 72, Ron Polityka WB3AAL Polar Bear #1 www.wb3aal.com www.n3epa.org ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
