Seriously, it's hard to keep up with the rate that Wayne adds new features to the radio. I've had a K3 since Jan 2008 and a quick look back at the advancement of the firmware is amazing.

You can set it up for any combination of 'which 0-9 button corresponds to each band' - make your own decisions on that. See "Quick Memories" in the manual, the CONFIG:MEM 0-9 and CONFIG: BAND SEL in the menu listing.
