Very well put, Don. I have almost the setup you suggest. Last night I heard some weak but perfectly readable PY and YV stations on 20m. I am i Denmark (Europe). They were calling CQ and there was no pile-up. But my 100W from the K3 didn't make a contact! So why would I invest in a second receiver?
