Hi all, I've just got back from YS1G, where the K3 was just perfect! Thanks again, Elecraft, for making the world's best expedition radio.
Ambient temperatures were 35C daytime, 25C night and we were right by the ocean. On returning to England I can see that the salty, humid air has done some damage to the K3, and caused the black case screws to rust. I am planning to change these for stainless steel screws and do a full health check inside and out on the whole radio.
