The ballistic tuning methods I have experienced all suffered from jumpy rates. If the tuning rate increase was *a smooth proportional increase* with the knob speed increase and the reverse, I think people would love it. I would think setting 25 or 50 narrow bands of increase would feel proportional. Two, three, four is jumpy.
