Steef: You should be able to remove a CW message stored in one of the CW message memories with the K3 Utility.
I just erased one of my messages in M3. I used the config menu, clicked the "Edit CW Memories" button, positioned the mouse cursor somewhere in M3, clicked the mouse, pressed CTRL-A to select all the text, pressed the "Delete" key, and then clicked the "Save" button. When I pressed M3 on the K3 front panel, the K3 transmitted nothing and showed "End" in the VFO B area of the K3 LCD screen. I opened the K3 Utility Edit CW Memories dialog again, and M3 was empty. What happens when you do these steps with the memory you'd like erased? I had to use paddle to get my CQ back into M1. Programming with the Elecraft Utility did not work, it only shows the overwritten message. 73 's Steef PA2A ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
