Hmmmm, not on my K3 (1740, 3.41). It depends on how you do it. If I go to the next band up with the band up button, split goes off. When I go back down using the band down button, the split is still there. If I go to the next band up using the memory button, split is gone as before but it does not come back when I go back down using the memory button.
