Ed, There is no easy way to do that. The K2 does not emit any RF when using the SPOT button, it just injects a tone into the audio. You could switch the K2 to a dummy load and tap the key, - don't forget to switch the K2 back to the antenna before transmitting if you want to make any contacts.
