I bought a pair of HP Speakers that are 3.5X6 that are black and look nice.  I
don't have an RFI problem with them connected to my computer which is on the
ham shack desk but I have yet to try them connected to the K3.  They are only
$20 at Walmart and they look a lot better than my Labtecs.  I may need to buy
another pair.  Unfortunately, they do not have a  balance control, but the K3
can be set up to use the sub receiver audio gain as a balance if I remember
correctly.

I have a pair of passive speakers that look very like those though they may
not be made by Motorola, but they are a bit lacking in bass for my liking
and I prefer the sound of the internal speaker.

I have a pair of cheap Trust computer speakers which sound good but I needed
to wind all the cables on ferrites to keep the RF out and still got some
breakthrough on some bands. And unfortunately they looked like cheap
computer speakers.

I ordered some Logitech speakers which were black and looked good next to
the K3 but it turned out they were so wide open to RFI they were picking up
a buzz from a nearby DECT cordless phone and I nearly had heart failure the
first time I pressed the PTT. The trouble with computer speakers is that
most of them are unshielded and there is usually no way to get inside them
to add bypass capacitors and filters except by using a hammer.

So I'm still looking for some smart, compact, RFI-proof speakers with decent
bass response, preferably passive (who needs another wall-wart) that I can
use with my K3. I don't have space for hi-fi bookshelf speakers.
