I agree! I don't think there is much doubt that Elecraft is interested in producing one or more amp models, but they aren't in any hurry it would seem. They even had a couple of prototypes about 3 years ago at Pacificon, but the K3 took priority, and continues to be (I think) their main attention getter. While they may not be that far away from a "final" design, these things can take a long time to really put the finishing touches on when other things are taking a lot of your time and attention. In any event, I suspect when it finally does come out, it will be fairly sophisticated--auto-tune, etc. It won't be inexpensive either, and I'm not sure it really met the specifications Gary had in mind when he started this thread. Having said all that, Elecraft will probably make a liar out of me, or at least a poor prognosticator, at Dayton this year!!!!
