Note that the headphone audio path of the K3 is designed for 32-ohm and lower headphone impedances. Higher impedance phones provide less audio for a given transducer efficiency. Cranking up the AF gain to compensate can lead to clipping-related distortion. 73, Lyle KK7P ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
