I did the DSP board exchange and my serial number (without any input from me) is still 1516. So it is stored somewhere else besides on the DSP board. Probably right next to the FP temp sensor...

I gotta admit as a CW op I hate my SN (1116) but I still love my K3 so it balances out. Not a big deal either way this goes. I'm just curious.
