I allow some deviation knowing that at different places along the cable, the swr will be different. This includes equipment like amplifiers. If the deviation isn't more than 1.2, then I am happy, otherwise I readjust. You could calibrate the W2 but then I think it changes the actual. Looking for pure 1.0:1 isn't always real.
