I want to thank everyone who responded to my question about the Heil Adapter "AD-1" I was very fortunate this weekend past during the CQ WW WPX contest. I was able to use both the Yamaha and a Heil headsets operating at a fellow ham's during the contest on an Icom. I found the Heil less fatiguing during my operating periods. This is what convinced me on my purchase. I did need to know which adapter was required for my K3.
