You can set up a few (admittedly not too many) K3 macros containing EQ value settings using the TE command and have them available from the front panel of your K3 with a couple of switch presses. See the second CUT LO example at the bottom of the Command Tester/K3 Macros page in K3 Utility Help (version 1.3.4.3, new on the Elecraft web site yesterday).
