Vidi, If it is the 100 watt K2, I strongly recommend adding the KPA100UPKIT - that change was made because some KPA100s tended to develop a parasitic on 40 meters. You should also install the upgraded shield kit.
If you have the 10 watt K2, then there is another problem and we need more details. The basic K2 is normally quite stable, and I have never know one to have a parasitic.
