I've settled down on the HC-5 as the best sounding SSB TX audio. It was after spending the time to determine that this was the right answer for the K3.
The TX equalizer should be tailored based on your own voice to give it the best fidelity. Because of my great audio, I get asked what mic I'm using on many occasions.
