I was prodded to be curious about the question of "Who are the people on the EM list?" Are we academics? Hobbyists? Politicians?
I could start. I have a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Software engineering is my day job. I try to be active in local political meetings and would very much like to see some of these EM things drafted into legislation and enacted.
