Spice has built-in models for the primitives in the Schematic
technology...you cannot change them. Editing the technology will not
help (and as has been mentioned, does not work).
The solution is to create a library of schematic icon cells and place
them in your circuit. Each icon cell then has a Spice template in it
which defines the way that Spice netlists the circuit. Electric
already has two such "spice libraries" that can serve as
illustrations of this. These libraries are built-into Electric and
one of them is loaded when you click the "Spice" component menu entry.
