Jake, Thank you for the info. You definitely answered half my question. The symbol linkage you showed in the above example is exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately my overall question was poorly worded.
The second half of my question is trying to understand what the limitations are with Electric for laying out the geometry of parts in the silicon. For example in the lateral transistor I mentioned, the emitter is circular at the center of the transistor. The two collectors are then wrapped around this as two semicircles. The collectors and emitter are embedded in the n-well of the base. I am not holding this up as a stellar transistor, but rather as a test case to see how far I can push Electric.
