It seems to work no problem. I have a feeling the curly brackets force a slightly different order of execution or maybe forces evaluation at compilation time; but I'm not sure if that will really make a big difference. How hard would it be to run spiceopus as a batch job post netlisting much like ltspice? Did you have to do something special to enable this? Being able to netlist, run opus as a batch job, writing out a raw file, and then plotting it much like spice opus would be great. By the way, in case you wanted to play with the tool directly:
