Hello: I cannot say I'm an Electric use but I can say I'm very curious. My understanding is that Electric does schematic and layout capture as well as DRC. It has no analog simulation capability as is but it does support SPICE. Is that correct?
For layout signoff, does it run DRC on the GDS file or on the database file? I mean is it like Assura or like Calibre? Does it interface to specific versions of SPICE (like HSPICE) or is it only the generic SPICE? Is this done only through the netlist or is there a GUI behind?
