One problem may be that you set a high memory limit, preventing Electric from starting again. There is only so much memory that a 32-bit JVM can have. There may be other saved preferences that cause problems, too.

See <http://www.staticfreesoft.com/jmanual/mchap06-03.html>http://www.staticfreesoft.com/jmanual/mchap06-03.html for information about wiping out your saved preferences. It may fix the problem.

Hello. I have a problem with starting Electric 9 (9-01 and 9-04) at Windows XP
I can start Electric app only one time after installation.
After closing it, double-clicking on jar file doesn`t give results.
I tried to run it from command line, but i get next:

C:\>java -jar electric-9.04.jar
Error: Unable to access jarfile electric-9.04.jar

C:\>java -classpath electric-9.04.jar com.sun.electric.Launcher
Error: Could not find or load main class com.sun.electric.Launcher

Does anyone know where I am wrong? And what should I do to launch Electric?

The latest Java 7.45 is installed
