Currently electric has a bug related to binary SPICE RAW files. Try using
ASCII RAW files, either by doing "export SPICE_ASCIIRAWFILE=1" before
launching electric, or by setting "set filetype=ascii" in your .spiceinit
file. Maybe this bug is fixed in the next release?
