I already installed jython plugin in the electric. I saw it in the help->about electric->plugins.

Please help me with how python scripting is done in electric.

Thanks in advance.

The user's manual has a page on the two interpretive languages (Java and Python):
        http://www.staticfreesoft.com/jmanual/mchap06-11.html

It has a few examples. Essentially, from Python, you have access to the entire internal API of Electric. So the best way to use Python is to read Electric's Java code (or look at the Javadoc). Other than that, I'm afraid you're on your own.

Good luck,
