I'm not completely sure, but I thinking that it might happen if the file cmosedu_models.txt is missing or the cmosedu_models.txt is missing the model that it is looking for (which in this case according to your error message seems to be the n_50n for the m1 transistor).

I guess you are doing the video 5 at:

http://cmosedu.com/videos/ltspice/ltspice_videos.htm

Did you download CMOSedu_video_5.zip and use the cmosedu_models.txt file contained in it? If you look in the cmosedu_models.txt file, you should see a section for ".model N_50n nmos level = 54". I think it is probably looking for this model in your cmosedu_models.txt file, but cannot find it.

Dear group members

As I was trying to implement and simulate a CMOS inverter in LTspice
I had an error indicated as below in the screen capture.
Was trying to study through Prof Jacob Baker's video.
Got stuck when I was trying to simulate.

Would anyone know what causes this error? the spice model?

Thank you.

with regards

Andrew
