You need to read the user's manual. The manual is quite extensive, built into Electric, and searchable. Look for the chapter on the Waveform Viewer. Or read it online:

Thanks for the reply. I was able to see a pop up window with waveform viewer coming up. Can you pls. tell me the following:

1. How to add waveforms in it. Is there anyway to select particular signals for plotting via electric schematic interface? Also, is the waveform viewer a part of electric or of ngspice? 2. Ngspice supports several simulation commands whereas electric supports (as I could see from the component tab in schematic) only AC, DC and transient analysis. So does it mean there is no way to enter these simulation commands through the schematic?

        Hi all,

I am new to Electric VLSI and was trying to integrate
ngspice with it (I have installed both in my ubuntu system).
Can anyone tell me that in File -->Preferences --> Tools
-->SPICE/CDL, what should be the path for 'Run Program' option
and what should be the corresponding arguments.

        Thanks,
        Arvind Gupta.
