A 2100 mah, 3 cell Polyquest pack was almost destroyed by mice! I was going to connect the pack when I noticed that most of the insulation on the wire exiting from the pack had been eaten away. Teeth marks on the wiring indicate mice or rats had been lunching on my pack. About 75% of the insulation had been chewed off. It was fortunate that the exposed wires did not touch or I could have been minus a garage and all my equipment. Something interesting is that I had several other Lipo packs close by that were not touched by the "visitors". I can't help wondering why the insulation on this pack was so tasty. Must have been packaged with some cheese. Since discovering this I store all my pack in metal containers. And this brings up a question. Is there any danger storing more than one pack in the same container? Have there been any instances where an idle pack has burst into flames.
