As a result of all the 'hacks' Microsoft has been subjected to in the
past couple of years they really tightened up the security in XP-sp2.
You can reset your XP firewall and when each of these programs gets
caught in the firewall, resond with 'Always allow' if that's what you
want and the Firewall will stop complaining.
You can also disable all of the built in XP security, it will
complain but still let you do that, and you can rely on your hardware
firewall and anti-virus/spyware software to keep you 'clean'.. that's
what most of the computer folks do.
