I don't think you can be brain dead from the effects of devices described so far. But common knowledge tells you to keep the instruments away from the electrical centres of your body;
1: Your heart. 2: Your brain.
Scenario coming up. Suppose you investigate the effects of stim by putting conductive patches on your ears; left+ and right-, and it renders you unconscious. What happens after that when your mother walks in, and she finds a dead body still writhing to the music coming from the electrostim device. Maybe MM or MMM might be delighted, but mother won't. Anywhere man made current goes through through the body in those two critical areas, there could be disastrous results. So just don't do it. O.K.?
