Hey Alex, I'm not 100% sure but as we use the same installer as Ubuntu does this might actually already work without us knowing, it would be great if you could test such an installation out on one of our recent daily builds(which you can find here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/elementaryos/files/unstable/)
