I don't believe this is a bug in eu-elflint. It is a bug in gnu ld, which we already work around when --gnu-ld is given. Which is what sets known_broken in the code you are patching. If set, that will already skip this test. See https://fedorahosted.org/elfutils/wiki/ElflintGNU Cheers, Mark
