Thanks for the input. Currently, I think Pasky is the only one who
really understands how ELinks' Javascript handling works and more
importantly how to interact with the SpiderMonkey engine. I don't know
if he will have energy anytime soon (between exams and Cogito
maintaining) to work on JavaScript.

It looks like Witold fixed this, so that noscript tags are skipped.

Well, the links2 and elinks JavaScript handling is two totally different
