As for Debian, yes that would be a good move...but NOT with ubuntu and
unity...
Few takers on Windows 8..if it ran well with Windows 7, that would
answer the question for awhile.
I would make sure the graphics wiz with either kbuntu or straight debian
and the KDE shell if possible. No one would complain about this....KDE
is gaining ground simply because people are tired of waiting and
arguing..IMHO..
Angstrom is nice and perfect for those embedded products, but for the
average guy just wanting to do something quick, the learning curve is
too great. they are spoiled with the graphic package installers and are
resisting the command line...
Lots of bloodshed over Gnome 3, they really pissed off the developers,
so if you go this route, choose wisely...
