Hi,

At present it is still possible to download a 180 day version of Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro Evaluation which was mentioned in the broadcast yesterday.

The page which had been removed also contained a lot of useful looking information on how to use it with the MinnowBoard Max though, which could have been very useful, but as you say it will probably re-appear again in due course.

I am sure that more info will be provided by CircuitCo also.... as well as more than a few third-party offerings.

David

It appears they forgot to put in the timebomb. I suspect it?ll be back shortly with the 90 day trial timeout added back in.

Hi,

Unfortunately it looks as if Microsoft were very quick to remove the links to download a developer?s evaluation copy of Windows 8.1 from msdn yesterday. (less than 10 hours ago.)

I went back to the page this morning to check out the information again and to complete the form, only to find that it was no longer there, having been replaced by the single line ?Coming Soon: Guide to MinnowBoard Max? and a link to MinnowBoard.org which doesn?t actually appear to contain any new information.

With the help of my History, I was able to find the download page again, although not from a direct link.

Regards,

David
