Hi,

I found a workaround.

I put FirmwareUpdate.efi and the BIOS file MNW2MAX1.X64.0073.R02.1409160934.bin
on an USB stick, boot into efi shell (this happens automatically if no other
boot device
is plugged in) and do an firmware update.

After that the newly flashed BIOS boots with the default setting fastboot
disabled.

This is not a nice solution, but it worked for me.

Best regards,
Martin

Betreff: Fastboot - unable to get to BIOS setup on minnowboardmax

Hi,

I build version 0.73 from source and updated it on my minnowboardmax.
Everything was running fine. Then I enabled fastboot in the BIOS setup, and
now I'm unable to get to the BIOS setup screen again.

I tried pressing F2 at startup, I tried typing 'exit' in the EFI Shell, I tried
it with and without bootable SD card plugged and I tried it with and without
network plugged in. I also tried it with a cold boot (switching off and on
the 5 V) and with the onboard switch SW1. But nothing worked.

Is there any other trick I can test to get to the BIOS to disable fastboot?

Viele Grüße,
i.A. Martin Krause
