Sadly I don't control how those releases come out, and trust me there has been a lot of internal discussion on that over the last month and a half. There should be some changes coming that would make that easier / better, but the firmware team isn't there yet.
We've had a couple of pre-releases get attached to specific bugs for testing. Case in point: https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6599 has a newer firmware (than 0.73) that has the new GOP (graphics) driver in it, it might be worth testing *IF* you have a SPI programmer (if not I wouldn't recommend it). - John On 01/12/2015 12:16 AM, Bruce Cran wrote: > On Sunday, January 11, 2015, John Roach <[email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > > I seem to have encountered the 'NVRAM Issue' on the latest firmware > (0.73 x64), > > > Somewhat related to this, is there any 'official' way to get newer > firmware builds, with the understanding that they won't have been > through QA and will likely require use of an SPI programmer etc.?
