I’m currently testing MinnowBoard Max x64 0.92 firmware with Debian 8.4 (multi-arch ISO, DVD image). I created the boot drive using a 4GB USB key & Rufus 2.9 in Windows 10. I am installing to an 8GB microSD card with no issues so far. The GRUB menu came up properly, booting to the USB Drive from the Boot Manager in the setup menu.

Besides the netboot ISO I used the standard ISO as well (the small one without a desktop environment). It all resulted in the same problem.
