Hi,

first, thanks to all the people involved in this great project!. Pitivi is
really great and it's one of the few essentials parts that are still missing
on my desktop.

But, there is one place that need some love (still in the latest git
version) is the settings of the output file (image width, image height,
container, codecs, ...). Recently, I have used Arista [0] for some
transcoding and I must say that I found their way of choosing the output
format very well done.

So, my point is the following : I think that some collaboration with the
Arista maintainer in regard of sharing some code could be a good thing.
Also, I have read some where that Transmageddon [1] is also sharing some
code in this regard.
