[Elisa] Too slow computer?

I've been running Elisa happily on a Sempron 3100+ with 500MB of ram and
an old nvidia 440 MX with few problems. The new ui for Moovida however
is very sluggish and choppy, is this to be expected? Is it likely to
improve or will I have to abandon Movida?
