Points taken. Since I don't have any other uses cases to offer, perhaps this is a non-issue for the moment. FWIW, this reminds me of the situation with lint (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lint_(software)) and similar tools. They can be useful, but only if they don't generate too many diagnostics.
