Dear All,
for reasons I don't quite remember, I'm using a package from

to make an alx kernel module for Centos6.x machines, in order to get
Atheros AR8161 wireless cards to work.
I am now wondering if Elrepo package kmod-alx would work in Centos6.4?
I see a recent message here :
http://elrepo.org/bugs/print_all_bug_page_word.php?search=&sort=&dir=DESC&type_page=html&export=-1&show_flag=0
concerning a new alx-package.
I installed kmod-alx but get this EM :
[root@localhost src]# modprobe alx
FATAL: Error inserting alx
(/lib/modules/2.6.32-358.0.1.el6.x86_64/weak-updates/alx/alx.ko):

When I install kmod-alx or when I use the old method for installing alx,
the machine does not booth in the new Centos6.4 kernel.
Can anyone offer some advise on this?
Greetings, J.
Hi Johan,
I'm just in the process of updating the kmod-alx package for 6.4, there
is an open bug request here:
http://elrepo.org/bugs/view.php?id=361
If you have the hardware and are able to test, please subscribe to that
bug and provide feedback there. I will post to the bug when a package is
available for testing, hopefully within the next couple days.
Thanks.
Phil
