Hello Gurus,
Stuck with a strange issue. Please help. With my
RHEL 8.2 the Broadcom adapter came up properly and connected to the
Wireless hotspot. But I failed to connect to the Internet! In the
settings of the connected Wireless SSID I see all IPV4 and IPV6
settings set to automatic (as Automatic DHCP, DNS and Routes) as
expected. But still the IPv4 address seems to be set to a private IP!
IPV4 Address 192.168.43.147
Default Route 192.168.43.1
DNS 192.168.43.1
_Environment_:
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.2 (Ootpa)
# lspci | grep -i wireless
12:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11bgn
Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)
In #ifconfig -a the wlan interface shows up as *wlp18s0b1*
Can someone please help me with this? Thanks in advance.
*Thanks and Regards*
