Update: I have tried the same steps on another pc but with an ac97 audio chip, and my thoughts have been confirmed, on that pc audio modules load properly, and audio works. So, if I'm not wrong, it seems that the problem is a sort of incompatibility between em28xx drivers and hd audio chip (the one on my cheap Acer Aspire 5310 laptop). The question to Markus now is: do you think there is an easy way to fix it either in the driver, or on my machine?
