The remote works - xev is showing some of the keys - but only until I start mplayer. Then the remote is not functionning. When I start tvtime (Ubuntu package) it doesn't affect remote's functionning, do you have any idea what can cause this? I also tried your version of tvtime, but it exits immediately right after starting it.
