Hi again! Thanks again for all the contribs on this mailing list: you helped me a lot in getting my Pinnacle 330e to work fine in all aspects.
My results are the following: Pinnacle 330e works fine both analog and dvb. - Kaffeine tunes all the channels and displays everything fine. - Tvtime (after removing a wrong include, as written in my previous mail) works without problem with alsa sound. I can play music with amarok AND view analog television. The "sox" workaround is not needed anymore. Last but not least, the dongle heats much less than before. It's in fact mildly warm. my uname -a Linux outoftime 2.6.24-gentoo-r2 #3 SMP Wed Mar 5 20:44:31 CET 2008 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux About the remote, I still have to configure it properly, but lirc sees all the keys and is able to associate everything. As soon as I find some time, I'll put an HOWTO on my blog. Still thanks a lot for the wonderful work Markus. And thanks to all those wrote howtos and gave suggestions. And for all Gentoo users (and maybe others...) feel free to ask if I can somehow help.
