that's rather normal.
You have to install tvtime from mcentral.de, this version requires
* libswscale-dev (ffmpeg)
* libc6-dev (pthread)
* libasound-dev (alsa audio support)

Ubuntu has a rather special handling, best is to use precompiled
packages - I haven't published them yet due the latest patches though
they should be available very soon.
