It installs another hook in write-contents-functions that deletes trailing whitespace. We want this function in all languages that we use (mostly Ada, Bourne shell, C and Perl). Like I said, we could easily duplicate our hook in ada-hook but I think this should be unnecessary and that ada-mode should be one of the many prog-modes. >> Fixing our hooks is easy but I'd like to know whether this is >> intentional.
